Hello my lovelies,

Another update – and on time (whoop, whoop). Last week I went to my friend’s registry office wedding, I was very impressed with the effort the office put in to make it not feel clinical! I was a lovely time, and it got me thinking I might pick up a romance novel in the near future to offset my reading trajectory.

Currently Reading:

Last week’s post I mentioned that I have started a new book by Lydia Millen. Well, I am 1/3 of the way through it and it’s very sweet. I spoke about my concerns for it being surface level…and it is – but I am not annoyed by it. This memoir style book takes you through the seasons and what you can do to embrace it, reflect on it and enjoy what it has to offer.

The next one, Winta’s Day I just started yesterday – it’s an ARC from the author, which I am very chuffed about. This book is set to be released in December and it’s been two long years of waiting, I thoroughly enjoy the seeker series – but when the author goes on maternity leave you kind of expect a delay.

It’s been an age since I got given an ARC and even better when it’s by an author you enjoy! Even though this upcoming week is going to be super busy for me, I hope to get through a good chunk of it.
