What can I say? It’s been a lovely warm sunny week, I have been inspired to not only start reading my Summer TBR – but I may have broken my book buying ban…

I got three books from Waterstones, which I also used as part payment a voucher on the card. 6 months without buying any books was impressive for me, so what I am going to do now is try and hold out until the end of the year. In hopes that I will sell more books to make up for the cost of purchasing these three!!

Last week, I finished a book and as mentioned I have also started reading a book from my TBR. It’s all good vibes here, hopefully that means I will get through another book this week (too optimistic maybe?)

A birthday gift’s from a friend, this was a fabulous little satire read. I caught myself giggling on a few occasions. This also means I can tick off another book in my yearly book goal!

Currently Reading:

Haunting Adeline I haven’t picked up since the last update, to be honest I am kind of bored of the story a little. Let’s see if I can get through another chapter and start taking an interest again.

I am kicking myself when it comes to Shadowblade, this book is probably one of the old book subscription books I have had on my TBR. For some reason in the back of my mind I thought this was going to be a heavy lore focused fantasy. When in fact, it’s a romantacy! Fingers crossed this is also another book that I devour quickly…
