Hello my lovelies,
A little late updating this post I’m afraid. With the extreme heatwave that hit London in the last week of June, it was overwhelming for me to even use my computer.
If you read my June TBR Wrap Up, you will know of my disappointment and struggles of that month.
Looking through my calendar, I can see that later in July I will have a good amount of downtime to get through some of my TBR. As well as work on other projects and goals I have.
But enough about that, let’s get into this month’s TBR!!
Here is a reminder on how I am picking my monthly TBR books:
Historically, I have been using prompt cards to help me pick. Yet, this year, I am doing something different.
The first thing, will be to rollover one book that I haven’t read from the previous month. One thing I noticed last year, was that whatever I didn’t read in that month would get lost on the wayside. So this time, I want to rollover a book to help me hold myself account.
Second thing, I will read a book from my Fairyloot Romantacy subscription. I want to be active in staying on top of this, as I believe I will not always want to keep the books after I read them.
Lastly, I will make an conscious effort to pick one book that I really want to read from my shelf, and one from my exploding pile (where I give myself this year to read it or they will be sold or given to charity).
So let’s get into the books I have picked this month:

Rollover Book: The Red Scholar’s Wake by Aliette de Bodard
Subscription Book: The Atlas Six by Olivia Blake
Exploding Book: The Breakup Monologues by Rosie Wilby
Interest Read: Quicksilver Trilogy by Josie Jaffrey
Compared to my June TBR, July is not that different. Yes, that means I am rolling over three books instead of one. But in my defence, all of these books are interesting to me and I want to get through them!
Plus, if I get inspired/motivated in my reading and finish these then I can pick up more that I want to read #winwin
So what do you think? Have you read any of these books from this TBR? I would love to hear your thoughts below!
Till next time.
