Hello, my lovelies,
How was your July? Mine was full of summer events with friends, such as Wimbledon and a fun festival called Cocktails in the City.
But what does that mean for my reading? I am happy to report that I’ve finished a few books during the month, and I’ve also listened to an audiobook!
Unfortunately, I didn’t get around to posting the reviews in time, but I plan to do so as soon as possible.
So that is where I am currently – but let’s dive into the wrap-up!
Here is a reminder of the books I picked for July:

Rollover Book: The Red Scholar’s Wake by Aliette de Bodard
Subscription Book: The Atlas Six by Olivie Blake
Exploding Book: The Breakup Monologues by Rosie Wilby
Interest Read: Quicksilver Trilogy by Josie Jaffrey
I am proud to say that I read 2 books from my TBR. The one caveat, though, is that I am counting each book within the QuickSilver trilogy, so this month I read Kill Me Quick from this trilogy. I also finished my Rollover book, The Red Scholar’s Wake, along with the Let Them Theory by Mel Robbins (which was an audiobook, I might add).
Therefore I read a total of 3 books in the month of July.
I am now three books behind in my yearly reading goal, an improvement from June. However, it’s still not ideal. Nevertheless, I am confident that I have now found my stride with audiobooks – I could decrease this outstanding amount!
How did you get on in July? I would love to hear in the comments below.
Till next time.
