Hello my lovelies,
How’s the first week of August been for you? I have been to exhibitions and movies, as well as going for a few job interviews and dates!
On the book front, the momentum is consistent. As you see below I have made progress and I am looking to catch up on the books I fell behind on.
Not a bad start.
So here is my current update.
Currently Reading:

Here are my current thoughts about these books:
Ultra-Processed People – I have this book in both physical and audio format…can you guess what format I am sticking with this book? Yep, you guessed it – audio! I am greatful Van Tullken’s voice is easy to listen to. I am currently nearing the end of chapter three.
Broken Souls and Bones – Since I finished my TBR of the month book subscription book, I’ve have picked up another one from FairyLoot. I am already about halfway through, I am enjoying the celtic/norse mythology influence and also the inclusion of someone who is unable to speak.
The Atlas Six – I have maybe read one chapter since the last month. It fascinates me how I can read one chapter and feel exhausted by it. Does anyone else experience this? I still like the story, but it feels an emense effort to read more than one chapter at a time.
Finished

The Wind Weaver – First book off my August TBR, I liked it enough that I am not going to sell it. It’s an interesting fusion of elemental beings and I enjoyed the world that was created. Pretty predictable romance plot line which I saw a mile off and no spice…that’s what upset me the most!
A decent pace, especially when I am confident that I will get through at least two FairyLoot books.
Till next time.
