2020 was the year of no lists. I decided on this because I didn’t meet my 2019 goals the previous year, however, with the world being as it is I reach the 30 books read mark quiet easily. With working from home looking at least like another three months for me, I thought I might bring back my book goals for 2021.
Unlike previous book goals, I am going to do things differently.
What I am going to do is only read books from my bookshelf (they one’s I have yet to read). Once that has been completed, I am going to work through my TBR that are on my kindle – and there are a bucket load of them.
The reason I am doing this, is because I have dedicated my 2021 to a low buy year and books a been cut back tremendously. I am only allowing myself to purchase new releases from one of my favourite authors (Nalini Singh). Everything else will either need to be free or from my TBR list.
This is definitely an achievable goal. Broad. Yes. But this will bring me great satisfaction to look at my bookshelf and kindle, and be able to say I have read ALL of these books!
A rarity amongst us readers and reviewers for sure.
Have you set your book goals yet for 2021? If so, what are they? I would love to hear what you have planned in the comments below.
