Hello my lovelies,
Welcome to Autumn, well for me I follow the lunar cycle, so the 22nd of September will for me be officially Autumn…but hey I do like to plan, so why not release my TBR now!?!
I never do seasonal TBRs, but with the struggle bus of trying to do a monthly TBR, I thought it might be better to switch it up to get myself engaged again. As I mentioned in my September refresh, I fell out of love with the style of blogging and vlogging I was doing. So as part of my refresh, I am going to do as you guessed it seasonal TBRs!
Right, so where to start?
I have three partly read books that I need to get through, as with many seasonal reads, I know people like to focus on the vibe of that season. So with Autumn, I am going to stick with the autumnal vibes of dark, magical and mysterious reads (if possible, I mean, I am not going to force myself to read a genre if it’s not vibing with me at the time…that’s just torture!). Therefore I will name this category:
WRAP UPS

Hex & Empire of the Vampire are almost done. I didn’t want to rush these books, but then again, taking months to read them is a little steep… The Gunslinger and Blood and Honey, I am about 20% into them, I really would like to get them off my TBR shelf and I feel I will enjoy both of them.
The next category is physical books and boy, do I have a LOT of them. I used to be very happy mixing library books, kindle and physical books, but in the last few months, that has gone out the window! So after scouring my bookcase, here are my picks for this category:
Physical Books

So keeping with my Autumnal vibes, I have picked an Urban Fantasy, a dark comedy, and two YA fantasies. While 8 books across 3 months is not a lot for me, I think having these as the foundation will be a good start. Hopefully, I can catch up on my yearly progress of reading 75 books this year (I am currently at 35).
I won’t pick anything from my kindle as I might use them for my winter TBR if this season is successful!
What do you think of the books I picked? Have you read any of them?
Till next time.
