Book Log: Autumn Update 25.09.23

Hello my lovelies,

I was inspired to do a little check in, though I am not sure I will do this weekly but I have seen other bloggers do it – which makes me think it might help me improve my reading slump by trying to be accountable on here.

Since posting my Autumn TBR, I have managed to finish one book already (YAY!). That was Anatomy by Dana Schwartz, a gothic romance which has a refreshing premise. Since finishing this book the first week of September I have managed to start reading two of the books from my log, but not finish either of them.

So here are my current thoughts on the two books:

If you haven’t been to my blog before, then you won’t know that I am not the fastest reader when it comes to non-fiction. Dear Dolly is one of these books, each chapter is a letter that Dolly answers from her column with the Sunday Times – Stylist. Each letter is a new chapter, which I enjoy – but her advice makes me want to absorb her info and reading more than two chapters at a time can get a little overwhelming.

But at this rate I should be done by Winter…haha

I only started reading Boundary Lines last week. This is the next book in the Boundary Crossed series. At the moment it’s picked up from where the first book ended, I am a fan of both MCs and I like the story’s plot line already. So I won’t be surprised that I will finish this book in the next few weeks – as long as I make time for reading!

Well, there you have my update. It felt quite good to get this down on here, maybe I can keep a Monday update going??

Let’s see shall we?

Till next time.
