Book Log: Autumn 2023 TBR UPDATE

Hello my lovelies,

Instead of my normal book log this week, I decided (well my head cold decided) that I will review my current standing in my Autumn TBR. As there is now only 20 days left of Autumn – I follow the lunar calendar for seasons. I thought a wee look back might help me give the boost I needed to get through any outstanding books.

So lets dive in.

I started reading these three non fiction books, but haven’t made much progress. Out of the three, I have gotten closer to finishing Dear Dolly. I feel the Kitchen Witchery for Everyday Magic will be an easy win, so I think I will try and read it within the next few days. With the breakup monologues, I definitely need to be in the mood to read it, but let’s wait and see, aye?

Owww, so the good news is that I have finished half of these books – the bad news I am pretty sure I am going to DNF one of them. I will be giving my full thought when Autumn ends on the books I have finished. Therefore, right now there is a strong possibility that I could finish one more book and along with DNF complete this row!?!

Ok, that is not as bad as I thought it would be. Though what I haven’t mentioned are the books that were not included on my TBR list that I have read! That will be shared in my end of season wrap up.

How are you getting with your TBR? Have you surprised yourself?

Till next time.

  1. I haven’t stuck to a tbr at all this year, but I’ve mostly been enjoying what I’ve read. So that’s good. And Kitchen Witchery for Everyday Magic sounds like so much fun.

    1. It is isn’t it? I am glad you have been enjoying what you have been reading though! Kitchen Witchery does give those vibes, I hope the recipes match the vibe.
