Hello my lovelies,

Welcome to February, I finally have a book log update! Over the last few weeks I have been reading the same two books while balancing my work and social life. One of things I mentioned in my 2024 review that I want to getting more reading in while managing my social life in a healthier way. I feel that I am on the right trajectory and maybe I might improve reading too!

Recently Finished:

Daughter of the Moon Goddess was my first Chinese Mythology retelling, it was full of adventure, immortal politics and sweeping landscapes – and I was here for it. I whapping 512 pages, this was a hefty story, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Currently Reading:

I just started reading Good Omens this morning, and since I have watched the TV series I can’t help but hear the actors voices in my head. This is also another giant of a novel coming in at 424 pages.

I am now 3/4 of the way through Welcome to the Hyunm-Dong Bookshop, I am enjoying the way it is written. Each chapter is a small scenario that happens at the bookshop or a interaction with the main or supporting character. There is no overarching plotline, its coming across as a cosy read where you are immersed in the bookstores life and people that’s in it.
