Hello, my lovelies.
Oh, the good vibes are here! April has been my most successful month this year. I hope that there will be more success going forward, but the euphoria of hitting a goal is second to none.
I have noticed that my reading style is not the norm, and I am not complaining about it. Though I do find it interesting that I am getting through books by keeping the genres varied.
That is where I am currently – but let’s dive into the wrap-up!
Here is a reminder of the books I picked for April:

Rollover Book: Warrior Princess Assassin by Brigid Kemmerer
Subscription Book: Song of Silver Flame Like Night by Amelie Wen Zhao
Exploding Book: A Study in Drowning by Ava Reid
Interesting Read: The Iliad by Homer & The Courage to be Disliked by Fumitake Koga & Ichiro Kishimi

Warrior Princess Assassin – Unfortunately, this was a terrible book for me. I managed to finish it, but my review was not positive. I also removed another book by this author from my shelf, as I don’t see myself reading it anytime soon.
To Cage a Wild Bird – The complete opposite, absolutely adored this storyline. It made me feel nostalgic about fantasy romance I used to read a decade back.
I’ve decided to live like me – A palette cleanser book that I picked up from a bric-a-brac store. I have realised I like self-help and memoir-style books.
The Iliad – I am happy that I have finished this story, so I can get on with The Odyssey…which I hope to finish in time before the film comes out.
Therefore, I read 4 books in April!
You can imagine the good vibes I feel from writing this total. While I am still 5 books behind, I don’t feel like this is unachievable. I have 7 months to go, that is plenty of time to catch up – don’t you think?
How did you get on in April?
Till next time.
