Hello, my lovelies.
We finally made it to the end of the year!
It does feel a little surreal at by how it felt just like yesterday when I was setting up my 2025 yearly goal. But, here we are – bringing in the new year and making new goals for 2026.
December was an interesting month, while I got through a good amount of books. My TBR didn’t hold up well, I only managed to tick off one and the rest was cannon fodder…but hey, it was the festive season!
So that is where I am currently – but let’s dive into the wrap-up!
Here is a reminder of the books I picked for December:

Rollover Book: Blood and Steel by Helen Scheuerer
Subscription Book: Zhara by S. Jae-Jones
Exploding Book: The City of Dusk by Tara Sim
Interest Read: Girls just want to have funds by Camilla Falkenberg, Emma Due Bitz, Anna-Sophie Hartvigsen
Book Club Read: The Christmas Cottage by Sarah Morgan
December came through, first thing I finished my rollover book, Blood and Steel! Then I finished the second book in the series, Vows & Ruins, but I have stopped there, as this is a series I am reading for a book club. While I know it’s fabulous to fall headfirst into a series, I wanted to give my books on my TBR some loving.
I finished How to Win a Grand Prix by Bernie Collins. My favourite sport to watch is F1, so when a friend of mine lent me this book, I was very excited to get into it. I read this book during lunchtime, so it took me longer to get through. But I am happy to say, I finished reading it in December, which means I could count it towards my yearly total.
Therefore, I read a total of 3 books in the month of December.
Which means I hit my yearly goal of 25 books! This was down to the wire I have to say, I’m proud of myself for sticking with it and reaching it in the end. Though as I mentioned I didn’t tick off more than one book off my TBR, I am not going to nitpick – it’s a win at the end of day.
How did you get on in December? Did you also reach your yearly goal like me?
Till next time.
