Firstly, I loved the cover of this book! When I got the ARC I was like oooow yes, I am going to read this! No one can say that we aren’t a sucker for a good cover. The premise of this book was interesting, again Mullinax gives me another theme that I have not read before. I did struggle with the MC being called Traveler…all of the other agents had somewhat normal names or at least exotic ones that suited them. Traveler’s name did not suit him in my opinion. Johanna was hilarious and I really enjoyed her family, it broke my heart to hear about what she had been through. Small town mentality is harsh and of course, the local bully was on form!
Overall I enjoyed the book, again it was really short. Maybe I have been reading a lot of long novels or something, but I interpret anything under 200 words to be a novella…
