Hello, my lovelies.

Here we are, halfway through 2026! How are your reading goals going?

Mine, well, I have been reading, but looking at my stats right now…let’s just say I need to get my a into g.

This month is my birthday month, so I want to treat myself by getting through a good number of books. So that means, reading every single chance I get. Even if it’s just for 10 minutes!

So, with that said… let’s get into it!

Here is a reminder on how I am picking my monthly TBR books:

These are the parameters I set for myself for the month:

The first thing will be to rollover one book that I haven’t read from the previous month.

Second thing, I will read a book from my Fairyloot Romantacy subscription and/or a book that I got from a historical book box subscription.

Third thing, I will make a conscious effort to pick one book from my shelf that I really want to read, and one from my self-destruct pile (where I give myself this year to read it, or they will be sold or given to charity).

So let’s get into the books I have picked this month:

Rollover Book: Song of Silver Flame Like Night by Amelie Wen Zhao

Subscription Book: Arcana Academy by Elisa Kova

Exploding Book: A Study in Drowning by Ava Reid

Interesting Reads: The Art of War by Sun-Tzu

A heavy subscription book box month (again). I’m almost at the halfway point with Song of Silver Flame Like Night, and at least 30% in to The Art of War – so let’s keep this rhythm going!!!
